About the Course
Orthopedic Assessments is designed to teach the student how to assess function and dysfunction of the joints of the human body. We will assess the foot, ankle, knee, hip, spine, shoulder, elbow, wrist, and the hand. The key outcome of this class is to teach the student when a dysfunctional joint is treatable within their scope of practice and when that client should be referred to a healthcare professional qualified to treat the client’s dysfunction.
